A sex offender from Teignmouth has been sentenced to 11 years in prison.

Former Riviera Trust employee Anthony John Woolston was sentenced at Reading Crown Court for nine counts of indecent assault against a female and two counts of rape.

Woolston, 56, of Parsons Street, was arrested earlier this year and found guilty by a jury on April 30.

Woolston was made to sign the sex offenders register and was also disqualified from working with children or being in the company of a child under the age of 16.
