A RAPIST, who committed offences in the 1980s, has been jailed for eight years.
Former caravan park manager Trevor Hall, 61, of Partlands Avenue, Ryde, was sentenced at Portsmouth Crown Court on Wednesday.
He was found guilty after a trial in October at the same court, of two counts of indecent assault against a female, six counts of committing gross indecency with a child, five counts of rape and one count of attempted rape.
The offences took place between 1980 and 1985.
Hall was told by Judge Richard Hetherington he had robbed the victim of her innocence. Hall was added to the sex offenders’ register indefinitely.
