Sex offender sent back to jail
A sex offender who failed to notify police of his address after being released from prison has been put back behind bars.
Simeon Edwards, of Judge Close, Fishtoft, was supposed to inform officers of his new address within three days, but he failed to do so, Boston Magistrates’ Court was told.
He also breached a community order imposed in January for matters including a sexual assault on a girl under 13, and breached the conditions of his prison licence.
The 19-year-old admitted all offences.
Carrie Simson, defending, said that though he had failed to comply, he had visited both police and the probation service and had not evaded detection. He has been recalled to prison for 28 days.
