Samantha Brooks: Sex offender who posed as man to bed teenage girl goes on run

A lesbian disguised as a man who sexually abused a schoolgirl and conned a single mum into a relationship has gone on the run.

Samantha Brooks, 28, of Uxbridge missed a court appearance after failing to sign the sex offenders’ register on time at her local police station.

A warrant was immediately issued for her arrest.

Brooks was jailed for 18 months in 2007 and put on the register for abusing a 14-year-old girl while pretending to be a man.

Later, a single mum-of-two told how Brooks posed as a man called Lee to have a sexual relationship with her.

Nicole, 26, of Glasgow, said: “We made love dozens of times.

“Lee had even persuaded me to take pregnancy tests at intervals.

“When the police told me that Lee was a she and was a sex offender who had abused an underage girl, I just couldn’t believe it.

“I broke down.”

Brooks was due to appear before Uxbridge magistrates in West London on Tuesday charged with failing to sign the register on time.

Her lawyer Caroline Dunne told the court: “I have no explanation as to why she is not here.”
