Leatherhead man pleads guilty to 16 offences relating to child abuse imagery

A man has pleaded guilty to 16 offences relating to making, possessing and distributing images of children being sexually abused.

David Spencer, 40, of Bookham Court, Church Road, Leatherhead, pleaded guilty to the charges at Guildford Crown Court on Friday, August 9.

He was charged with 10 counts of making indecent photographs or pseudo images of a child, one count of possession of extreme pornographic images of a child, one count of possession of prohibited images of a child, and four counts of distributing indecent photographs or pseudo images of a child.

All the offences took place in Leatherhead in March this year.

The extreme pornographic images Spencer possessed included one depicting sexual intercourse with a dog. 

Spencer will be sentenced at the crown court next month.
