Telford pair behind bars after admitting child sex offences

A man and woman have been jailed for more than five years between them after admitting to a series of child sex offences.

Primary school caretaker and local youth football coach David Hopkins, 54, of Stirchley in Telford, has been jailed for 33 months for possessing and making indecent photographs of children, and encouraging a woman to engage in sexual activity with a child.

Meanwhile, Stacey Streames, 40, of Dawley in Telford, has been jailed for 28 months for carrying out sexual activity with a child, and taking and making indecent photographs of a child.

The offences were carried out between January and November 2013.

The boy was just 11-years-old

The pair were also given a sexual harm prevention order when they appeared for sentencing at Shrewsbury Crown Court.
