Holyhead man jailed for three and a half years for sexual abuse of boy and possessing indecent images

A 36-YEAR-OLD Holyhead man was yesterday (Wednesday) jailed for three and a half years for sexually abusing a 13 year-old boy over a period of 12 months and possessing indecent computer images.

Such was the effect on the victim of Lee Reynolds, of Maes y Dref, Holyhead, that the boy now suffers from psychiatric problems and post traumatic stress disorder, the judge was told.

Reynolds pleaded guilty to sexual activity with a child and to possessing indecent Internet images of children.

Andrew Green, prosecuting, said 769 of the images were of category A – the most serious.

Mr Recorder Peter Rouch QC told Reynolds: “There are serious aggravating features.”

Reynolds will be placed on the sex offenders’ register for an indefinite period.
