Pensioner jailed for making and taking indecent images of young children

A perverted pensioner has been jailed after he was caught in possession of indecent images of children.

The court heard that Graham Adshead (73) had been collecting images of children for over a decade.

Graham Adshead, of Heathfield Road, Ellesmere port admitted:

  • Four counts of taking indecent photographs of a child

  • Two counts of making indecent photographs of a child

  • Two counts of distributing indecent photographs of a child

  • One count of possessing indecent photographs of a child

Adshead admitted in court that he gained sexual gratification from taking and making photos of young girls.

When police examined his computer, they found hundreds of images, and officers discovered that he had also been distributing the images online to other paedophile’s.

The judge sentenced Graham Adshead to 12 months imprisonment.

The court imposed a sexual harm prevention order for 10-years.

He must also sign the sex offenders register for a period of 10-years.
