Pervert jailed for abusing young girl

A pervert has been sentenced to four years after he admitted sexual assaults on a female child who was aged under 13 years old

Edwin Russell Evans, 54 of Nant Y Gaer Road, Llay, near Wrexham appeared at Crown Court after he admitted four counts of indecency with a child.

The court that the offences were committed over a two year period between 1995 – 1997 and began when the child was 11-years-old

Evans was told that he must register as a sex offender for life
