Perverted aerospace boss avoids prison

An aerospace boss who was found possessing child porn has lost his job and good reputation and placed his home at risk because of a single day of offending.

Kraig Murley, 42, a former development engineering manager at Honeywell Aerospace in Yeovil, admitted 15 offences of possessing child sexual abuse images at Taunton Crown Court and narrowly escaped a prison sentence.

Local police received a tip-off from the United States that he had downloaded pictures from the internet and searched his home with a warrant on June 12, 2013.

Officers seized his computer and were about to leave when Murley, of Camel Street, Marston Magna, arrived from work and said: “They’re all on my laptop”, said Caroline Bolt, prosecuting.
