Man, 25, put on Sex Offenders’ Register over indecent child images

A 25-year-old Flimby man has been put on the Sex Offenders Register for a decade after he admitted three counts of possessing child sexual abuse images on his laptop.

Christopher Ellis, of Flimby Brow, also admitted perverting the course of justice by deleting indecent images from the laptop computer storing the photos.

At Carlisle Crown Court, Ellis was given a three year community order, and told to complete 100 hours unpaid work in the community, and 20 days of rehabilitation.

The judge also banned Ellis from working with children and ordered that he must attend a Sex Offenders’ Treatment Programme.

He must also pay an £85 victim surcharge. All of the offences he admitted were committed in April, 2015.
