Depraved Derbyshire Paedophile spared jail

A depraved Derbyshire Paedophile has been spared jail after police found a large quantity of indecent images of children on his home computer.

Lee Wayne Bytheway 48 from Langwith, Derbyshire, avoided jail at Derby Crown Court on Friday (29th January) after pleading guilty to four counts of making and possessing indecent images.

The discovery was made in the early part of 2015 when the police armed with a search warrant arrived at Mr. Bytheway’s Langwith home. They recovered computers, discs and other electronic equipment as part of an ongoing police operation.

It is also believed that a lock-up used by Mr, Bytheway was searched as part of that same operation.

Upon forensic examination of Mr, Bytheway’s computer it was found to contain indecent images and videos, some of which were in Category A, the highest level that showed penetrative abuse on an child or animal.

Mr, Bytheway, was sentenced to twelve months imprisonment, suspended for two years. He was made a subject of a Sexual Harm Prevention Order for ten years and made to sign the Sex Offenders Register for ten years.
