Pervert sentenced after paedophile hunter sting

A pervert has today avoided a prison sentence after he was caught grooming what he believed were a number of schoolgirls online

Nick Walker of Poleworth appeared at Crown Court where he was sentenced following an investigation of a number of child sexual related offences committed by him

The court was told that Walker had contacted the online profiles of who he believed belonged to schoolgirls

Walker sent highly sexualised messages in a clear bid to groom the girls for sexual activity

However, the four children Walker groomed did not exist and were instead adult members of paedophile hunting team ‘Shadow Hunters UK’ who pose online as children to catch sexual predators who target kids

On the 18th of November 2017, the team confronted Walker at his workplace and questioned him on his internet activity.

A member of the team rang the police and Walker was arrested at the scene.
