Waltham Cross paedophile jailed for string of historic sex offences against a child under 13
A 75-year-old man has been jailed for a string of historic sexual offences, including rape and the indecent assault of a child under the age of 13.
Following a two-week trial at St Albans Crown Court, Harold Salt was found guilty on Monday (November 11) of seven charged and one count of rape. Salt committed multiple sexual assaults against his victim between 1997 and 2001, the court heard.
On Wednesday (November 13) the 75-year-old, of Shalcross Drive in Waltham Cross, was sentenced to 18 years in prison.
