Pervert youth football coach banned from working with kids
A youth football coach caught with hundreds of child sexual abuse images has been banned from working with kids.
Pervert Liam Ball was spared jail in January after police discovered the sickening haul which included images of child rape in an early morning raid on a house in Perth.
But the Scottish Social Services Council has now removed the 21-year-old from its register following a hearing, meaning he can no longer work in the care sector.
Ball was ordered to carry out a community payback order as a “direct alternative” to time behind bars after a sheriff described his behaviour as “evil”.
The coach, who was involved with Fair City 2010 and later attempted to join Jeanfield Swifts FC, was ordered to complete 160 hours of unpaid work within nine months and placed on the sex offenders’ register.
