Pervert caught on two separate occasions by different paedo hunter groups

A pervert who was caught twice in the space of 13 months after being exposed by two different groups of paedophile hunters has avoided prison

Lewis Teague sent sexual messages to what he thought were girls aged 14 and 15 on Facebook and the dating site Scout but was in fact communicating with decoys set up by internet watch groups.

He arranged to meet the older girl for sex and police found him with two vibrators when they arrested him in Crediton.

Teague, aged 24, of Elizabeth Avenue, Exeter, admitted attempted sexual communications with a child, attempting to meet a child following grooming and personal possession of cannabis.

He was given a one year suspended jail sentence and ordered to do 30 days of rehabilitation activities by Judge Peter Johnson at Exeter Crown Court.

He was put on the sex offenders’ register and made subject to a sexual harm prevention order which enables the police to monitor his online activity, both for ten years.

Mr Tom Bradnock, said Teague was ‘stung’ by paedophile hunting groups in January 2019 and February 2020.

The first decoy claimed to be 14 and the second 15. He sent sexual messages to the first and a picture of his genitals to the second, who he arranged to meet in Crediton.

He was working as a supermarket delivery driver, and police found two vibrators, lubricant, and an empty packet of virility tablets which help with erections

Teague was also caught paedophile hunting teams The UK database and Totnes Justice who followed Teague to Brixham from Exeter, where they confronted him on his internet activity.

Teague openly admitted speaking sexually to who he believed were young girls online

The decoy was Pixie Lou from the team ‘The Forbidden’
