North Lincolnshire man found guilty of catalogue of sickening crimes

A North Lincolnshire man has been found guilty of a huge catalogue of sickening sex crimes against children.

Gary Neal, 54, of Mill Lane, Kirton in Lindsey, was found guilty of 14 counts of sexual offences against children following an eight-day trial at Grimsby Crown Court.

A jury found Neal guilty of 14 offences, and not guilty to one charge.

He will be sentenced in December.

Neal was found guilty of four counts of indecent assault on a girl under the age of 14, gross indecency with a child under the age of 14, two counts of rape of a female child under the age of 16, sexual assault of a girl under the age of 13, three counts of inciting a girl under the age of 13 to engage in sexual activity and three counts of sexual assault of a girl under the age of 13 by touching.

He was found not guilty of neglect of a young person.

The trial was heard by Judge Ahmed Nadim.

Neal will be sentenced on Friday, December 11.
