Paedophile admits 15 offences after police find animal and child abuse images on computer

A paedophile has admitted a string of sex offences including sending pictures of children, possessing animal porn, having sexually charged chats with youngsters and inciting kids into sex acts.

Pervert Andrew Heyes admitted 15 offences at Sheffield Crown Court and was warned he may be sent to prison when he returns next month.

The 55-year-old, from Sheffield, pleaded guilty to three counts of making indecent photographs, 26 of which were category A – the worst kind – and one charge of possessing extreme porn in which a human is seen to be having sex with an animal.

He also admitted five counts of inciting a child to engage in sexual activity and two counts of attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child.

Heyes will also be sentenced for pleading guilty to four counts of distributing indecent images of children

The court clerk read out the charges, which relate to offences committed between August 2015 and September 2017, with Heyes responding “guilty” to each of those put to him.

The Recorder Abdul Iqbal told Heyes, of Tollgate Court, Sheffield, that he will receive the appropriate credit for his early guilty plea.

However, when he granted him bail, Mr Iqbal added that Heyes should not take that as an indication as to what his fate will be when he is sentenced on May 7.
