A pervert has admitted committing a lewd act in an alleyway – only four days after he was released from a previous sentence.

Angelo Mechen admitted outraging public decency at Kidderminster Magistrates Court.

The court heard police arrested Mechen after a member of the public reported seeing the man in the alleyway at around 2pm on Friday, March 13. He had been released from a previous sentence on March 9.

Detectives from West Mercia’s Management of Sexual and Violent Offenders (MOSOVO) team were praised by the Crown Prosecution Service for staying on duty 11 hours after their shift finished to deal with the case.

Mechen was remanded to appear at Worcester Crown Court for sentencing on April 3.
