Moment scuffle breaks out as paedophile hunters corner pervert in Stoke-on-Trent

This was the moment a pervert became embroiled in a scuffle with paedophile hunters who cornered him for having sexual chats with multiple ‘children’ online.

The shocking footage was captured by Scorpion Hunters UK before being passed to police to ensure Mohammed Uddin was taken to court.

It shows Uddin being restrained on the ground at an undisclosed location in Stoke-on-Trent as he’s repeatedly told to ‘stay clam’ and that ‘nobody is going to hurt him’.

But the 24-year-old appears to lash out and allegedly catches a decoy on the jaw.

The defendant looks sheepish as a close up of his hand reveals he has an injured knuckle.

Uddin – who is made to sit with his legs crossed and his back against a wall – had believed he was communicating with three schoolgirls who were in fact adult decoys.

He is then challenged by the exposers about his online sex chats.

One of the decoys tells him: “I’m called Dave, I’m from a group of paedophile hunters. I’m out here tonight representing Scorpion Hunters UK.

“Do you understand what we do? Do you want to hazard a guess as to why we stopped you tonight?”

“We find and identify, apprehend and hand over people to the police who target child for their own sexual gratification.

“You have been stopped today because we want to speak to you about your online activity regarding speaking sexually to underage girls online, specifically sexual grooming.

“Now you’re not being detained today because you’ve been engaged in conversation with an adult in a sexual nature. You’re being detained today because you’ve been talking to children.

“There are multiple teams on you.”.

The decoy then quizzes Uddin over how many children he is speaking to.

Uddin repeatedly replies: “I’d rather wait for the police.”

He remains almost silent throughout before officers arrive and he is placed in handcuffs.

The full 12-and-a-half minute clip – which was live-streamed on Facebook – then ends with him being led away and placed in the back of a police car on October 1 2019.

Uddin – who now lives in Birmingham – was this week sentenced to two years in prison, suspended for two years.

He had pleaded guilty to attempting to incite a child under 13 to engage in sexual activity and three offences of attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child.

Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court heard he asked an 11-year-old decoy called Skye for sex and asked her to send pictures of herself.

He also told a 14-year-old decoy called Emma she was ‘cute and hot’ and told her he wished he was younger.

And he suggested to the third decoy, posing as a 12-year-old girl named Shannon, they could be ‘friends with benefits’.

He was made the subject of a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) for 10 years and was placed on the sex offenders’ register for the same period.
